A Length of Indigo Dyed Katazome Cotton: Bold Pattern

This attractive and graphically appealing length of indigo dyed cotton katazome is stencil resist dyed on hand spun, hand woven cotton.

It shows two columns of stylized images which are family crests. Supporting this pattern is a background of arabesque or trailing vine, an often-seen design feature of katazome textiles.

The indigo is of a nicely warm, medium tone and the pattern is balanced, large-scale and visually captivation.

This is a wonderful pattern on a good length of indigo dyed cotton cloth.
