A Good Amount of Beautifully Woven Hemp Mesh: Green Blue

This is a very long piece of hand plied, hand woven hemp or ramie (likely hemp) mosquito netting that has been dyed in indigo, yielding a dull--yet attractive--rustic blue tone.

The texture is wiry and wonderful with fairly easily identified ply joins which indicate the yarns that were used to weave this were hand made.

There are warp-based, narrow stripes on this length which are the result of warp yarns being clustered close together.  The generous length is in good, used condition with no noticeable flaws or damage.

A wonderful thing to own.
