This is a length of indigo dyed cotton plaid that is hand woven from hand spun cotton yarns. To touch it is quite soft and is drapey in the hand.
The plaid design is well executed and the warm indigo color tone is much closer in reality to the first and second photos here; the others depict the color of the cloth as much colder and flatter than it is in real life.
The length is studded with several very small holes as the kind shown on the second detail photo. In truth they are very hard to see unless you inspect the length closely.
This is a handsome length of hand woven cotton that was no doubt taken from a futon cover.
