BY SUBWAY
From Manhattan
TAKING THE L TRAIN*, BEDFORD AVENUE STOP, FIRST STOP IN BROOKLYN, WEEKDAYS: approx. 12 minute walk
-board the front of the L train
-take the train to the first stop in Brooklyn, Bedford Avenue
-ascend the stairs closest to the front of the train and you'll arrive at Driggs and North Seventh
-walk in the direction of Joe's Busy Corner, NOT Acqua Santa: you want the numbered streets to become larger, not smaller
-continue up Driggs. You'll pass a Russian church and a park
-continue on Driggs to Manhattan Avenue
-take a right on Manhattan Avenue two blocks
-you'll see Eckford Street intersecting Manhattan on an angle
-take a left. I'm right there: 18-22 Eckford. A.I.R. sign above the black front door
*You can also take the L train one stop past Bedford Avenue to Lorimer/Metropolitan and transfer to the G train in the direction of Queens/Court Square. The G is a shorter walk to Sri than the L
BY SUBWAY
From Manhattan
TAKING THE G* TRAIN, NASSAU AVENUE STOP: FROM MANHATTAN YOU CAN ACCESS THE G TRAIN VIA THE E OR THE V TRAINS approximately 5-7 minute walk from the Nassau Avenue stop to Sri
-exit the train at Nassau Avenue
-walk on Manhattan Avenue in the direction of a Japanese restaurant, Sapporo Haru
-continue on Manhattan past Driggs Street and Engert Avenue.
-Eckford Street intersects Manhattan Avenue at an angle; you'll see a sign for it
-take a direct left: my place, 18-22 Eckford has a black door, and a red and white sign 'A.I.R' above
-Press buzzer # 8
*from Manhattan you can take the E or the V trains and change to the G at the first stop in Queens: 23rd Stree/Ely Avenue Court Square stop. As this is the first stop for the G train, any train will go in the direction of Sri.
DRIVING
Via Williamsburg Bridge with normal traffic, from the Manhattan side of the bridge to Sri about a 15 minutes drive
-Cross the Bridge and continue on to the BQE, taking the first exit off: McGuinness/Humboldt
-Take the left fork on the exit, continuing left onto McGuinness Blvd.
-Get in the left lane of McGuinness Blvd. and continue just a few blocks.
-You will pass, Bayard St., Newton St., Engert St., Broome Street: after Broome is Driggs Avenue
-Turn left onto Driggs Avenue, there is a light there
-Go down one block past Graham Avenue to Eckford Street. Take a left (it doesn't look like you can take a left, but you can)
-Continue on Eckford. I am one-half block past the stop sign at Eckford and Engert.
-You'll see a building, number 18-22 Eckford with a red and white sign 'A.I.R'.
-Press buzzer # 8
DRIVING
From Manhattan
Via 59th Street Bridge: with normal traffic from the Manhattan side of bridge to Sri about 15 minutes
-Cross the 59th Street Bridge, upper level, right lane
-upon exiting the bridge, take the right exit to 21st Street
-at the light at the end of the off ramp, turn left onto 21st Street
-continue on 21st Street just past the Post Office (right hand side)and PS1 (left hand side), turning right on Jackson Avenue
-go on Jackson Avenue to the Pulaski Bridge
-cross the Pulaski Bridge and continue on McGuinness Blvd.
-continue on McGuinness for about a dozen blocks: you'll then see crosstreets: Meserole, Norman, Nassau: note: you'll want to turn right just after Nassau Avenue.
-take a right 1/2 block after Nassau Avenue (the road forks to the right) to the stop sign on Driggs Avenue
-take a right on Driggs Avenue one block to Eckford Street
-turn left on Eckford to the stop sign: note: it looks as if you cannot take a left here but you can. BE CAREFUL and make a wide turn
-continue on Eckford one-half block after the stop sign, I am at 18-22 Eckford, #8: Above the door is a sign above which says AIR
-Press buzzer # 8
LOCAL CAR SERVICE: they will know how to reach 18 Eckford: some Yellow cabs could get lost

-if you are in Manhattan, usually allow 20- 30 mins for the car to arrive to you; a trip here from most points in Manhattan will take approximately 20 mins in normal traffic. At rush hour or during the Christmas shopping season, please know that Mobil Car Service may take longer than 30 mins to arrive to you if you are in Manhattan.

-if they ask you for cross streets, we are between Engert and Manhattan
-a one-way trip will cost approximately $20-$25 from destinations in Manhattan, but make sure to ask the dispatcher the cost before the car arrives.
