An Old Book of Rubbings: Lots of Scribbles

This is an old book, most of the pages of which are rubbings showing kanji or Chinese characters.

However it are the end pages at the front and the back of the book which are the curious and interesting aspects of the book--and the reason it is being presented here.

These few pages of hand writing and ink marking are so interesting in their randomness and unselfconscious beauty that for these alone this book is worth owning. The age of the book combined with these unintentional artworks is a wonderful pairing.

Delightful and so good for anyone interested in book or drawing.
