An Indigo Dyed Cotton Zokin: Symmetry

$25.00 USD

Zokin are traditional Japanese dustrags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.

This is a very handsome zokin which is sewn from recycled indigo dyed cotton cloth. It is sashiko stitched in even columns of white thread. There is a center seam from which two diagonal lines radiate in pure symmetry. Really lovely.

A very good looking zokin with lovely stitching and a wonderful, intentional design.
