An Enameled Metal Indian Sign: English, Gujarati, Hindi

This is a curious, fun and handsome thing: it is an enameled metal sign from India that shows a great deal of wear, chipping and rust on its front and back surfaces.

The proper, front, side is a ground of vermilion  and white enamel that announces "No Admission" in English, Hindi and Gujarati.  The sign has a bit of a bow or curve; it does not lay entirely flat.

But what a lovely thing to own-and very useful, too.
