Zokin are traditional Japanese dustrags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.
This is a very handsome zokin which is sewn from recycled cotton cloth. It is sashiko stitched in even columns of white, blue orange and green colored thread--the sashiko stitching is just wonderful contrasted against the dark, subtle striped background. Even better is the surprise of color change in the stitching.
A very good looking zokin with lovely stitching.
