A Zokin Apron: Strange Fragment
$22.00 USD
early to mid twentieth century

Zokin are traditional Japanese dustr ags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.
This unusual apron seems to have been fashioned from an old zokin--as can be seen the original tie has been broken but even in its ruined state it has a good deal of charm, and it also gives us a window into daily life in old Japan.
Just wonderful.
