A Very Long Panel of Weathered Hemp Kaya: Mosquito Netting

This is a good-sized length of hemp mesh cloth. 

This is a panel from a kaya or mosquito netting, hence the open weave of the cloth; the color is a dull green that has softened and changed over time-- and the surface patina, the hole and the ingrained discoloration all attest to this being well-used. 

The panel is stitched from two pieces and there is one green-toned patch to the surface

A lovely and very generous length of old kaya with a lot of character.
