A Very Handsome Striped Length: Wide, Complex Stripes

This is an old, hand woven cotton panel which was taken from a futon cover.  The surface is beautifully worn and softly abraded; the colors have become very muted through wear and age.

The bold, vertical stripes have been dulled from use, but they are still really lovely in this state, probably more so than when this length of cloth was newly woven over 100 years ago.

In good condition this hand some length of cloth is easy to admire.
