A Traditional Boldly Designed Hanten: Machine Stitched

This is a resist dyed cotton hanten or jacket which, as can be easily seen, has a high graphic impact due to its bold design and simple color palette.  

It is machine stitched and it is lightly worn and the color combination of rust, black and white is wonderful to look at--and the splash of turquoise on the inside is a charming visual surprise.

The back of the jacket's decorative design is based on parallel stripes onto which thickly written black kanji or Chinese characters are superimposed. There is a super faint bit of bleeding through of the turquoise colored lining onto the white of the kanji area but this is very hard  to see.

The measurements quoted above show, first, the dimension from shoulder to hem followed by sleeve tip to sleeve tip.

A gorgeous, still wearable jacket with great visual impact.
