A Thick and Ragged Ledger Book: Wispy Writing

This is a very nice, old. thick daifukucho, a hand bound, hand written book which could have originally been used for inventories, for accounting, for ledgers or as a record of loans.

This one is thick with many pages and it is filled with wispy hand writing. Its two covers show hand written kanji or Chinese characters, one cover is stained with colored ink or paint. Each of the two covers is quite worn and wrinkled.

A good example of a traditional daifukucho, with its original, intact binding cord.
