A Sharply Contrasting Kasuri Length: Inky Dark Indigo

The geometry within the design of this kasuri woven cotton cloth is wonderfully intriguing and repetitive: small, complicated rectangles of two sizes alternate along a vertically-oriented stripe. In between these white-on-blue patterns are pale mustard colored stripes.
The cotton is dyed a very inky indigo color which reads as black. There is one mending patch which is very difficult to see because it is of the same fabric as the base.
A sophisticated design, this is a wonderfully realized piece of kasuri cotton.
