A Sashiko Stitched Zokin: Op Art Pattern

Zokin are traditional Japanese dust rags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.

This is a zokin which is sewn from recycled, commercially produced cotton cloth which has been printed in an "Op Art" style pattern.

As can be seen, there is fading to the cloth as well as some staining, but a lovely thing nonetheless.

A very good looking zokin.
