A Roll of Yukata Cotton: Commercially Woven and Dyed

$30.00 USD

contemporary
12' x 13", 10.9 m x 33 cm

This is a full bolt of commercially produced cotton which was intended to be made up into a yukata, an unlined, casual kimono.

The patter is blue-on-white basket weave against bands of deep blue and red, the pattern of these bands seem to be vaguely pre-Columbian.

Seemingly unused, this is good-sized length of cotton.
