What a beauty. This boro cloth shows a smattering of patches--about 25 in total--of diverse cottons. The base cloth is hand stitched from seven individual pieces of the same cloth.
This cloth is one-and-a-half loom widths in total, and overall this boro cloth is of good size.
The wide striped, indigo dyed hand loomed cotton base cloth is just beautiful, and this is further enhanced by the rich flurry of small patches that studs the surface of this old cotton cloth.
Wonderful--as can easily be seen.
