A Richly Colored Striped Length: Gradient Hues

Please look carefully at the accompanying detail photos of this lovely length of hand loomed cotton.  The hand loomed cotton length shows two, wide stripes, each stripe being composed of a palette of rich colors: greens, blues, orange, deep indigo and white: a lovely and surprising chromatic effect, and one that is very entertaining to the eyes.

The cloth is in very good condition for its age, still very sturdy and still showing a very attractive, irregular selvedge, reinforcing the fact that this length is hand woven.

A beautifully complex length of old cotton, most likely taken from a futon cover, and one that is a delight to the eyes.
