What a handsome length of hand woven, beautifully colored striped cloth.
The colors in person are more vivid than depicted here: the indigo background is a deep sapphire blue, the green and blue stripes are rich in tone and the center reddish-color narrow stripe zips up the length as if it was fire.
The cloth has a luxurious, hand woven feel in the hand and the cotton yarns are no doubt hand spun.
An exceptionally nice length of nice hand woven stripes from old Japan.
