What a charming thing. This is a small, drawered "medicine" box which is made from a very lightweight wood that has been laminated with red paper. The box is so light in weight that it almost feels that it is made of cardboard, however it is more structurally sound than a paper box.
The box has a lightweight metal pull and hardward on the front of the small drawer, still very much intact. The overall surface of the box is good, and used, with a few splits to the corner joins.
A charming and very usable thing, great for storing cameras, jewelry or odds and ends that need to be accessible and organized.
