$21.00 USD
mid twentieth century
9 1/4" x 12 1/2", 23.5 cm x 32 cm
Zokin are traditional Japanese dustrags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.
This is a good-sized and very handsome zokin which is sewn from pieced-together recycled cotton cloth which has been sashiko stitched.
The piecing is subtle, so please do pay good attention to the detail photos attached here.
A very good looking zokin with nice, old cotton and good stitching.
