Zokin are traditional Japanese dust rags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.
This is a handsome, smallish zokin is machine stitched from recycled cotton cloth which has been beautifully faded and patched over time and by wear--the cloth was most likely taken from a work coat.
A very good looking zokin with a lovely composition and good color.
