A Patched Length of Hemp Mosquito Netting: Mottled Color

This is a length of woven hemp kaya or mosquito netting: it is dyed a very warm blue-green-blue color and it is worn. 

Faint stains in the form of color mottling, surface abrasion and a beautifully placed patch are the the attributes which give this length character. None of these details detract from the rustic charm of the piece, which is great.

Instead, the color mottling adds some nice textural interest to the length and is not distract from its integrity as an old piece of hand woven hemp cloth.
