Zokin are traditional Japanese dustrags which are almost always made from layered and sashiko stitched scraps of cloth.

This zokin is an exceptionally good one as it is created from a good number of scraps of cotton cloth which are beautifully placed and artfully arranged, creating a kind of "mini-boro" textile with lots of artistic appeal.

Just fantastic--and recommended.
