This is a very long piece of beautifully and softly faded indigo dyed cotton--in this case a subtle and beautiful woven stripe.
The colors are gradient blues that have softened beautifully with time and with wear, the cotton is pliable and hand woven.
Extremely handsome and in good condition, this length of old cotton is taken from a futon cover.
