A Long Panel of Hand Loomed Checked Cotton: Patches

This is a very long and beautifully rustic length of fairly heavy weight, hand woven cotton that was loomed of hand spun yarns.  The indigo is fine, deep and warm and the checked pattern is bold and attractive.

The surface of this length is evenly and slightly discolored from wear as can be seen in the accompanying photographs, which also show its six or so hand applied patches.

This is a very lovely piece of country cloth with fantastic fibers and very good folk character.
