This is a simple and beautiful length of hand woven striped cotton. Its color and design are both very handsome, and its age is very good.

This is the kind of beautifully understated home weaving that makes people fall in love with Japanese folk textiles. Its sophistication and its subtlety are both of such elegance that it is hard to resist wanting to own something like this.

Some light fading, especially a faint block of it on one of the two ends, this is in used condition and is still a wonderful length of old hand woven cotton.
