A Length of Varied Stripes: Intricate Pairings
ca. early twentieth century
62" x 12 3/4", 157.5 cm x 32.5 cm
This is a handsome length of cloth: there is good design, good coloration, and it is in good condition.
The design is two, parallel placed stripes, each one very wide and each one containing a subset of variations on the stripe motif, which, when see as a whole, read as one, wide stripe.
There is one, lentil sized hole, but otherwise this good looking length of cotton is in fine condition.
