This subtly toned, highly textured length of thickly woven striped cotton cloth is simply beautiful for its rustic appeal.
The thick, hand spun, undyed weft yarns are woven against indigo dyed cotton warp yarns and this combination gives both a wonderful color and a rich texture to the length. It is a marvelously nuanced piece of hand woven cotton which was well-used and was repaired with the small patches that stud the surface.
It is in good, used condition and it is one of those lengths of country cloth that is so appealing for its rustic qualities, and for its intrinsic beauty.
