A Length of Patched Striped Cotton: Beautiful Blues

This is a length of very handsome, simply designed woven striped cotton that shows one hand applied, solid indigo cotton patch.

The cloth shows wide stripes of in rather warm indigo and greyish tones set against wide stripes of a dark indigo color. The cloth is in good, used condition with some faint overall surface wear but very little fading.

This is a good looking length of old, hand loomed, striped cotton that was taken from a futon cover. The hand spun yarns add character and are exactly what you want to see from an old Japanese folk textile.
