A Length of Patched Blue Cotton: Handwoven Simplicity

ca. early to mid twentieth century

This is very simple length of medium blue colored cotton: the length is made from two pieces which are hand stitched together. 

On the longer of the two pieces there is a cluster of three small patches.  This cloth is starched.

Simple and lovely.
