A Length of Large Repeat Itajime Shibori: Tonal Variation

This is a length of contemporary, indigo dyed cotton that was dyed in the itajime shibori method where the cloth is folded and clamped in order to produce designated patterns or effects.

This cloth shows a six-pointed "snow flower" design that is rich in tonal variation--a wonderful effect.
