A Length of Kasuri Dyed Cotton: Optical Waves

This is a visually exciting length of kasuri dyed cotton, the pattern being a kind of optically entrancing, horizontal based zigzag done in strong contrast of black against white.

The pattern is a delight and as we can imagine it was taken from a futon cover, it is equally delightful to imagine what a full futon cover which was composed of four or five of these panels looked like.

It is in good, used condition with a small, faint, almost-unnoticeable stain and a small hole, shown here.

This is wonderful length of old kasuri.
