A Length of Indigo Dyed Kasuri Cotton: Complex Design and Hand Woven

This short length of indigo dyed cotton is beautifully hand woven of fairly thick yarns which makes for a lovely, heavy texture.

Its thread resisted design is a complex one of interlocking and overlaid geometric shapes that creates a dimensional effect when viewed from a distance.

The indigo color is deep and dark blue and there seems to be no significant light fading or damage to the piece.

A lovely and unusual pattern woven in the kasuri method.
