This is a length of hand spun, hand woven, indigo dyed cotton that is hand stitched from five separate pieces.

The cloth itself is fairly lightweight and has a nice texture from its hand spun yarns; the hand stitching is a nice addition.

This length is best appreciated for its intrinsic material qualities which is where the soul of Japanese folk textiles resides.
