This is a very handsome length of old, hand spun, hand woven cotton cloth that shows a complex, striped design in rich tones of blue and rust.
The length was taken from a futon cover and its hand woven texture is as appealing as its rudimentary-yet-sophisticated color combination.
The cloth is in good, used condition and is still vibrant in its color saturation. Please note there are some small "pits," snags or tiny spots of surface loss to the surface
This is a very good looking piece of old, hand loomed striped cotton from old Japan.
