A Length of Elegantly Designed Hand Woven Striped Cloth: Silk and Cotton

This is a length of beautiful cloth that is as elegant as it is simply designed.  The pattern is based on narrow, warp-based stripes.  

What adds interest to this cloth, aside from its lovely design is that the striped yarns are silk; the dark, indigo dyed "background" yarns are cotton.

You will notice that two pieces of cloth are hand stitched together to comprise this one length, which, as can be seen from the accompanying photographs, is stylish.

A good, old, length of hand loomed cotton.
