A Length of Dip Dyed Shibori: Spiderwebs

This length of mottled shibori is a tied, scrunched and dipped sort.  Within the clouds of indigo we see a tied shibori shapes called kumo or spiderweb.

The overall effect is atmospheric because of the unstructured shibori dyeing.   The dye is nice and rich, the piece seems to have light wear (if any) and there are very, very faint stains which are indicated on the second or last of the detail photos here.l
