This is a length of green colored cotton cloth which shows two triangular-shaped pieces of rustic, indigo dyed shibori cloth.

The cloth is seemingly part of a kaya or a tent of mosquito netting: the corners of mosquito tents were reinforced with triangular shaped cottons such as we see here.

The green cotton is more than likely over dyed indigo or indigo that has been dipped into a yellow dye stuff. The shibori corners show a beautiful type of country stitched shibori.

A really lovely length of cloth from old Japan.
