A Length of Beautifully Colored Stripe Cotton: Hand Woven

It is hard to capture the subtle beauty of the color tones which comprise this length of woven stripe: the nuances of botanical dyes are difficult to translate in photography.

This is a beautiful length of old stripes that has an especially handsome palette of colors. The weaving is tight and the condition is good and used.

This length was taken from a futon cover and it is very much a type of stripe that was woven for this purpose, many similar examples can be seen. This one is a  cut above due to its good condition and its nice color, it is a beauty.
