This is an especially good length of hand spun, hand woven cotton.
The design is made beautiful by the colors chosen and how they are assigned to the elements of the design.
The ground color is a delicious warm, medium-toned indigo. Maize colored, intersecting lines are a beautiful foil for the the blue. And unexpectedly there is a further detail of white/black kasuri yarns that are barely noticeable but add a depth of richness to the overall design scheme.
There is a tear to the cloth at the top, right which is shown on the accompanying detail photo.
A wonderful length of cloth.
