A Length of Asagi Hemp Kaya: Pale Blue Mosquito Netting

This is a lovely length of  rustic, hand plied hemp kaya or mosquito netting whose color is a faded, pale, very warm powder blue.

The fibers are wonderfully wiry and the lax weaving creates a mesh like effect; there is one vestigial patch that can be seen on this fine piece of old mosquito netting.

Simply beautiful in color and texture, this is a very good piece of old kaya.
