A Large and Layered Zokin: Indigo Dyed Cotton
$22.00 USD
ca. early to mid twentieth century
13" x 15", 33 cm x 38 cm
This zokin, or sashiko stitched dustrag, is sewn from layers of cotton cloth which are then sashiko stictched together.
What makes this zokin so interesting is that it is of a good size--larger than most-- and shows lovely tones of blue and a good arrangement of them.
This traditional dustrag shows a lot of visual appeal, both in terms of color and texture.
A lovely thing.
