This is lidded lacquer box which contains countless small scraps of old cloth: the collection of fragments is a mixture of cotton and silk pieces with a few synthetics. The cottons are a mix of hand woven and commercially woven samples and there is great variety.
The actual weight of the fabric scraps is 4 lbs. or 1.8 kg and for anyone wishing to purchase this you will have to consider this a treasure box, one to explore on your own as its contents are too varied to describe here.
