A Hand Written Accounting Book: Daifukucho

This is a very nice, old daifukucho, an hand bound, hand written book which could have originally been used for inventories, for accounting, for ledgers or as a record of loans.

This one is slender with a good number of pages, about half of which are filled with hand writing done in sumi or charcoal-based ink.  Its two abraded covers are made of the same paper as the pages of the book and the front one shows hand written kanji or Chinese characters.  

A good example of a traditional daifukucho, with its original, intact cording. 

Really attractive.
