A Hand Made Corduroy Apron: Pocket
$35.00 USD
ca. mid twentieth century
20" x 22", 50.75 cm x 56 cm
This is exceptionally charming--it is a hand stitched, Western-style apron which has been sewn from brown corduroy.
The tie is indigo dyed cotton.
The apron is constructed from what appears to be repurposed pieces--even the pocket is created from scraps. The construction of the apron is very evident when viewing it from the wrong side (photos attached). Note the splotches of white paint on the back of the apron; this is permanent to the piece--washing did not remove it.
A really delightful, vintage hand made Japanese garment.
