A Group of Four Small Zokin: Coaster Size

$26.00 USD

ca. mid twentieth century
each, approximately: 6" x 5 1/4", 15 cm x 13.25 cm

This is a group of four, small, layered cotton squared that have been sashiko stitched using white thread.

One square is indigo dyed kasuri, one is a minuscule grey check, one is of green cloth and the last is striped.

Most likely they were intended to be used around the house, either for cleaning or more likely as pot holders.

A charming little set of four hand made every day textiles.
