This fold-out brochure contains fifteen silk swatches of dark-toned silk: there are ten kasuri and five striped pieces.
The kasuri swatches are all in tones of brown and show very small and intricate patterns. The five striped swatches are almost monochrome as the alternating striped colors are so dark and close in value to one another.
The brochure was used by a kimono manufacturer to show its various woven styles and patterns to prospective clients.
