A Daifukucho or Accounting Book: Lots of Writing

This is a very nice, old daifukucho, a hand bound, hand written book which could have originally been used for inventories, for accounting, for ledgers or for record keeping of any kind.

It is a small one and not terribly thick with pages, however the pages included in this book are visually exciting for their dense writing, crossings out and generally dynamic brushwork.

This daifukucho shows hand writing done in sumi or charcoal-based ink.  The daifukucho's paper stock is hand made.
