A Commercially Woven Bolt of Cotton: Old Loom and Good Texture

$50.00 USD

early to mid twentieth century
approximately 11 yards x 14", 10 m x 35.5 cm

This seems to be a full bolt of old cotton that was commercially woven on old looms which produced nicely textured material.

This is deadstock cloth and the word "seems" is applied to its length because, due to the intricate nature of how it is folded into a neat package, the bolt was not opened and measured in order to preserve this nice folding.

The bolt may have been intended to make a kimono or it might have been manufactured to make utilitarian cloth such as a furoshiki.

In any case, here is a good length of handsome cotton cloth to be used as your imagination or need dictates.
